Michelle Schneider, MS LMFT CMHS Family Counseling for Infants, Children, and Parents
As children grow and gain increasing independence preparing to conquer the world, they face new challenges every day. It can be difficult at times to maneuver through these challenges and support is needed. Whether it is exploring social relationships with peers or family, discovering their own unique identity, adjusting to life transitions, or managing to balance the growing responsibilities, these issues can build and create anxiety, depression, or distress for your child.
I am here to provide a space for your child or teen to explore these life challenges and developmental changes in a safe and supportive capacity. As children grow they often seek an adult that is safe and nonjudgemental space to learn to trust themselves in their choices, to build a foundation, and to grow into a confident, grounded adult.
